World War Profile: World War II France

Time and place: I was born in  Lyon but when i was 2 years old my parents moved to Paris so I consider myself as a parisina. Today is September 10, 1940 

Birthdate: As i said befor i was born in Lyon, on October 26 of 1920, i´m about to turn 19 this year. 

Profession: Acually i'm studying gastronomy to be a chef, and at the same time i'm working as a kitchen assistant here in Paris 

Favourite foods and activities: My favourite food is Orange chicken and Tacos from Mexico, and my favourite activites are palying football, palying piano, and cook 

Family: I live with my mom and my dad, whit my sister and my grandmother, we are not a big family 

My regular daily life: First i wake up early to go to collage, then i do some homework and at 5p.m. i start working at the restaurant, i finish at 9 p.m. and then i go to my house and on weekend i work until 12p.m. and then i hang out with my friends 

Personal reason for enlisting in the world war conflict once it starts: This conflixt started a year ago and i think it will really bad consequences for everyone. I enlisted to war becasue my father fought in the great war when he was my age and almost because i love my country and i will give my life to protect it and my family 

My World War Role:  I enlisted as a soldier but with months of training i was asigned to be a sniper, personally i like this role becasue they fight far from the main conflict but also i have a big responsability to protect my teamates.

Conflict context: It´s June of 1940,the nazis just entered to Paris and we been fighting for days to try to stop their ocuppaition. We lose the fight and the nazis took Paris, i was injured so i retired to the south of France and then i will take a ship to England. 

Technology: This days i'ad been in England i have seen amazing technology i've never seen before, like new types of cars, radios and including boats but also new type of weapons, maybe this will help use to defeat nazis but i think is a double edge ssword. 

Change vs Continuity: I entered the army to defend my family, my freedom and my nation but now i've beem a year in the army i think this war is somthing very useless and i don't want to continue fighting. All the things i experienced change my way of view this conflict, i don't want to continue fighting but i only do it for those who are suffering
